Our client, a leading company in the Defence sector, is seeking a highly skilled Naval Architect for a contract position. As a Naval Architect, you will play a crucial role in supporting the generation and delivery of technical outputs within a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Development and validation of whole boat concept sizing tool using Excel
  • Verification and validation of FDG toolsets
  • Creation and improvement of 3D spatial models using Rhino3D
  • Generation and development of stability models using Paramarine
  • Conducting side studies to investigate whole boat impact and explore design characteristics
  • Producing evidence and conducting analysis on design elements such as PH Sizing, Cladding Impact, Manning, Margins, Infrastructure, and Armament
  • Preparation of Consolidated Design Reports
Job Requirements:
  • Significant experience as a Naval Architect
  • Proficiency in Excel, Rhino3D, and AutoCAD
  • Strong understanding of stability modeling using Paramarine
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical disciplines and report progress to team leader
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • SC Clearance (Security Check)
