Job Description:

Our Government client is seeking experienced Software Engineers skilled in Java (Spring Boot) within large-scale microservice architectures. You will join a dynamic team working on critical public sector systems, offering a chance to apply your expertise in a challenging environment that impacts public services.

As an SC Cleared Java Developer, you should be proficient in test-driven development (TDD), containerisation with Docker, and working with relational databases like Postgres (preferably with Liquibase for migrations). Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices is essential. Knowledge of Kafka and experience with React/TypeScript are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop scalable Java applications using Spring Boot in microservice architectures.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions.
3. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following TDD principles using JUnit and Mockito.
4. Implement containerisation and orchestration with Docker.
