Your New Role
We are seeking a skilled Interim SC Cleared IT Support Technician to join our dynamic hardware team. The ideal candidate will have experience in hardware diagnostics, break-fix solutions, and system builds. This role requires a proactive approach to software BAU tasks, second-line ticket resolution, and remote desktop support. Additionally, the candidate will participate in Tech Bar services five times a week on a rotational basis.

Your Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the hardware team to diagnose and repair laptops and desktops.
• Perform system builds and configurations for both laptops and desktops.
• Provide support at the Tech Bar, assisting employees with IT-related issues on a rota basis (5 times a week).
• Manage software BAU tasks, ensuring business operations run smoothly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve second-line tickets efficiently.
• Deliver remote desktop support to users, diagnosing and resolving technical problems remotely.
• Maintain documentation of technical issues and solutions for knowledge sharing.

You Will Have
• Active SC Clearance
• Proven experience in IT support, with a focus on hardware diagnostics and repair.
• Strong understanding of laptop and desktop builds.
• Proficiency in software troubleshooting and second-line support.
• Experience in remote desktop support and ticket management systems.
• Ability tomunicate effectively with users and colleagues in a professional environment.
• Must be a British National.
• Certifications such aspTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft certifications.
•Previous experience in a similar role within a corporate environment.
