Our SC IT Project Manager will oversee and manage various Defense IT projects from initiation to completion. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The candidate should be a detailed planner, organizing, and coordinating all aspects of IT projects to achieve desired outcomes and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and closing of IT projects following best practices and methodologies.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets; monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies; develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Monitor and control budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure project delivery within constraints.
• Manage project documentation, including charters, requirements, change requests, and status reports.
• Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates on progress, issues, and risks.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Lead post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions.

Qualifications

Essential Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 3+ / 5+ years of experience in project management.
• SC Clearance is required.
• Project Management certifications such as AgilePM, Scrum, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
• Proven experience delivering products like ERP (Oracle/SAP), CRM (Salesforce), Cloud Databases (Oracle Cloud, MS Azure), ITSM (Jira Service Management, ServiceNow).
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, etc.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Desirable

• Experience in Defense, Government, Rail, and Transport sectors.
