Job description

We are recruiting for an IT Engineer - preferably SC Cleared or SC Clearable, on contract, for a leading Government organisation based in Corsham, Wiltshire.

Essentials - Must have SC clearance

UK National with a UK passport

Must join the OOH rota and standby, must have a full clean driving licence

2+ years experience in a PC field service or workshop environment, including hardware diagnosis, troubleshooting, support, and repair (including complex laptop repairs)

Accredited or willing to undergo HP & Dell desktop and laptop training

Manage queue tickets assigned to their Hub and surrounding spokes, ensuring appropriate updates and call management to maintain service levels as per contract

Manage hub stock and asset management, including scanning items in/out of locations as per contract

Manage disposals through their Hub according to contract procedures

Triage and perform hardware repairs on in-warranty equipment, liaising with vendors for parts and returns as per contract

Replenish lockers where appropriate, following contract guidelines

Identify potential issues with services or suggest improvements to their Team Leader

Follow all agreed processes and procedures, including site regulations and authority guidelines
