Job Description: IT Engineer (SC Cleared)

We are recruiting for an SC Cleared IT Engineer on a contract basis to be based at our client's government site in Corsham, Wiltshire.

Candidate requirements:

• Must have current SC Clearance or be willing to obtain it
• Must possess a UK passport and be a British Citizen

Responsibilities:

1. Migration set-up and refresh clinic setup
2. Move devices from onsite storage to the refresh clinic as instructed by the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager
3. Login to systems using devices provided, under instruction
4. Refresh laptops and other devices
5. Collect existing devices from users and hand over new devices according to the migration schedule and project processes
6. Update the Contractor's workflow management system at all relevant steps
7. Report issues promptly and accurately to the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager
8. Pass unresolved issues to an onsite Post Migration Support Engineer
9. Conduct daily manual stock checks and report findings
10. Properly package collected devices for disposal or refurbishment and mark them accordingly
11. End each day by moving all devices and equipment back to onsite storage
