Job Description: SC Cleared IT Engineer

We are recruiting for an SC Cleared (current clearance required) IT Engineer on a contract basis to be based at our client's government site in Corsham, Wiltshire.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have SC Clearance or be willing to obtain it.
• Must possess a UK passport and be a British Citizen.

Responsibilities:

1. Migration Set-up:
2. Participate in Set-up Refresh Clinic activities.
3. Move the required devices from onsite storage to the Refresh Clinic as instructed by the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager.
4. Login to systems using devices provided, following instructions from the Contractor’s Engineer and Site Manager.

1. Refresh laptops:
2. Collect existing devices from users and hand over new devices according to the migration schedule and project processes.
3. Handover and collect devices in accordance with the migration schedule.
4. Update the Contractor’s workflow management system at all relevant steps.
5. Report issues promptly and accurately to the Contractor Engineer and Site Manager.
6. Pass unresolved issues to an onsite Post Migration Support Engineer.
7. Conduct manual stock checks daily and report findings.
8. Place collected devices in the original packaging, marking boxes for “disposal” or “refurbishment” as per device designation rules.
9. At the end of each day, move all devices and equipment back to onsite storage.
