Job summary

Rowden, based in Bristol, is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (Customer Product) to join the Infrastructure/DevOps team. You will build and operate cloud platforms, automate infrastructure, and collaborate with development teams to improve workflows for Defence, Security, and Emergency sectors.

The role requires 3+ years in cloud/infra, IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, Ansible, and container deployment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building/operating cloud or on-prem infrastructure.
• Terraform or CloudFormation with Ansible for automation.
• Deploy and manage versioned containers in an orchestration service.
• Scripting in at least one: Python/Golang/JavaScript/Bash.
• Awareness of security best practices (NCSC principles or equivalent).
• Experience across compute, networks, storage and identity management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage cloud platforms to support projects.
• Implement infrastructure as code to create reliable systems and services.
• Collaborate with dev teams to improve workflows with testing and release procedures.
• Provide security, network and database expertise.
• Analyse metrics to tune performance and troubleshoot faults.
