Architecture | Strategy | Stakeholder Management

SR2 have partnered with a consultancy supporting a key government department on a business-critical transformation programme. We're looking for an experienced SC Cleared Enterprise Architect to help shape and drive architecture strategy.

This role will be focused on working closely with senior stakeholders, inspiring confidence and navigating ambiguity to build a pragmatic and fit-for-purpose architecture capability. The ideal candidate will be confident operating in less-defined environments, with the interpersonal and influencing skills to bring people on the journey without relying on overly theoretical frameworks or rigid models.

You’ll be instrumental in guiding architectural thinking and ensuring alignment across multiple teams and business functions.

Essential Skills / Experience

• Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture roles leading teams of 5+.




• Experience managing organisational-wide architecture strategies




• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills




• Skilled technologist ideally experience/background working with: AWS, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka etc.




• Public Sector/Central Gov experience




• SC Clearance - beneficial. We are able to reinstate lapsed clearancebut the expiry date must be active.

This contract will fallInsideIR35, with a rate of£700-725p/d
