Job summary

Click in Portsmouth is seeking a SC Cleared C/C++ Embedded Software Engineer for a leading Defence & Space organisation. This hybrid role offers 3 days on site and 2 days work-from-home.

You will primarily develop embedded software on Linux-based platforms, using C/C++ in real-time environments, with exposure to Buildroot/Yocto, U-Boot, and device trees to deploy robust prototypes.

Qualifications

• Experience programming Embedded Systems using C/C++.
• Experience of bare-metal and Embedded Linux environments.
• Experience of linux device drivers including DMA, Interrupts, and Device Trees.
• Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing.
• Knowledge of Software Defined Radio.

• Experience of working with and configuring Embedded Linux systems with tools such as Buildroot and Yocto
• Experience of working with Uboot, Kernel config and device trees
• Building and deploying Embedded Linux systems in an offline environment

We are recruiting for a SC Cleared C/C++ Embedded Software Engineer for a leading Defence & Space organisation based in Portsmouth, this is a Hybrid role with 3 days a week on site, 2 days WFH. Due to security restrictions you must have valid SC Clearance and be a British National.
