Job summary

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electronic & Electrical Engineering is required.
• 2+ years hands-on experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
• HNC/HND in Electronic & Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in inspection and verification of engineering work and equipment against standards.
• Ability to conduct design, test and technical investigations and propose robust corrective actions.
• Experience compiling data for test results and producing concise engineering documentation.
• Experience resolving problems and capturing non-conformances using established standards.
• Strong verbal communication and stakeholder interfacing skills.
• Ability to keep accurate records of work and contribute to engineering team decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide design support to production and manufacturing environments.
• Inspect and verify engineering work and manufactured equipment against standards.
• Carry out design, test and technical investigations across products and propose corrective actions.
• Compile data for test results, problem assessments and design improvements and document them for in-service use.
• Resolve problems and capture non-conformances using established standards and tools.
• Interface with customers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Keep full and accurate records of activities and methods.
• Contribute to engineering team decisions as required.
