Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Technical Engineer in Fareham, Hampshire to deliver and support cybersecurity services for client environments. You will monitor and maintain both client-facing services and back-end infrastructure, with work logged in ITSM to meet SLAs and KPIs.

A sponsored SC clearance is available. Ideal candidates have 12+ months in 1st/2nd line IT support, experience with EDR/SIEM and Fortinet, and the ability to work collaboratively with the SOC team and clients to deploy and

Qualifications

12+ months' experience in 1st/2nd line IT support, ideally with MSPs.
Hands-on with cybersecurity platforms including EDR, SIEM and Fortinet.
Experience logging and tracking work via an ITSM system and meeting SLAs.
Ability to obtain SC clearance sponsored by the employer.

Responsibilities

Deliver and support cybersecurity services for clients and back‑end infrastructure.
Monitor health of cybersecurity infrastructure and investigate alerts.
Respond to client queries and resolve issues effectively and promptly.
Plan and roll out projects to improve services and deploy new products.
Maintain documentation, onboarding/offboarding and access management.
Collaborate with SOC team for incident handling and escalation.
