Job summary

A leading defence systems team in Stevenage is seeking an SC Cleared C++ Software Engineer for a hands-on position. The role involves designing and implementing solutions for Air Defence Systems, requiring expertise in C++ and experience in real-time systems. This is a 6-month contract onsite with a rate of £65 per hour.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience of working in C++ required.
• Experience in other languages such as Ada and QT.
• Knowledge of Real Time Multi-Threaded Applications essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Command and Control architectures.
• Instantiations for future Air Defence Systems products.

• Inside of IR35
• £65 per hour

Overview of department:

Our team is responsible for developing solutions for the next generation of Air Defence Systems; developing evolving products whilst maintaining our enviable reputation for safety, performance and dependability.

Responsibilities:

This is a very hands-on role and requires the continued design and development of Command and Control architectures, and the instantiations for future products. Perfect for a Software Engineer who is proactive and takes the initiative.

Skillset/experience required:

• Live SC Clearance
• Extensive experience of working in C++
• Experience in other languages such as Ada, QT
• Knowledge of Real Time Multi-Threaded Applications
