Bristol - Onsite 5 days a week

12 months contract

£70 per hour

Overview of department:

Our team at our Bristol facility develops solutions for the next generation of Air Defence Systems, focusing on safety, performance, and dependability.

Responsibilities:

This role involves designing and developing Command and Control architectures for future products. It is suitable for proactive Software Engineers who take initiative.

Skillset/experience required:

• Strong background in software engineering and system impact.
• Experience with C++.
• Experience with software architecture models.
• Collaborative approach and ability to work well in a team.
• Experience across the entire software development process, including requirements and automated testing.
• Experience with new tools and techniques to improve processes.
• Knowledge of other languages like Ada and QT.
• Knowledge of Real Time Multi-Threaded Applications.
• Familiarity with standards such as DefStan 00-55, DO-178C, IEC61508, and MISRA C++.
