Job summary

Morson Human Resources Limited is recruiting a C#/.NET Developer for a UK-based role supporting RAF in service combat aircraft systems. The position is hybrid with three days onsite in Warton, Preston and two days remote, on a 12-month initial contract.

The ESS desktop client uses .NET C#/WPF and Oracle databases. You will join a skilled team applying strong software engineering principles and contributing to maintenance, tests, and documentation while exploring new technologies.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive C# ability with experience in VB6 and in WPF/WinForms.
• Experience with Oracle/SQL databases and modern source control/tools.
• Familiar with lifecycle processes, attention to detail, and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of system requirements to influence software design.
• Implementation and configuration of new functionality with maintainable code.
• Production of Unit/Module Tests & Software Documents with appropriate coverage.
• Provision of software support to the Systems Build, Integration & Test Teams.
• Research new development techniques and introduce them to the team.
