Job summary

ECS Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking an SC-cleared Azure DevOps Engineer to support a large Azure cloud platform in a secure government environment in London. The role is an initial 3‑month contract with a requirement to be in London for 2 days per week.

Responsibilities include building CI/CD pipelines, deploying infrastructure with Terraform/Bicep, and implementing monitoring and security controls across the platform. Experience with AKS, Docker and Git is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance is essential.
• Strong Azure DevOps experience in Azure cloud environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Bicep).
• Knowledge of Azure Key Vault, Azure Entra ID (Azure AD) and Azure Policy.

About the role

We're recruiting on behalf of a Global Services Provider who are looking for an SC Cleared Azure DevOps Engineer to support the delivery and operation of a large-scale Azure cloud platform within a secure government environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps


• Develop and manage Azure infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Bicep)


• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics to improve platform reliability


• Ensure security, compliance and governance controls are embedded across the platform, including Azure Key Vault, Azure Entra ID and Azure Policy


• Support deployment, release management, testing and environment provisioning activities


• Collaborate with infrastructure and engineering teams to improve platform performance and delivery


• Produce and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• Strong Azure DevOps experience within Azure cloud environments


• Active SC Clearance (essential)


• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Bicep)


• Experience with Azure Key Vault, Azure Entra ID (Azure AD) and Azure Policy


• Knowledge of Azure security, monitoring and identity management


• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (AKS) and Git


• Exposure to or experience with Microsoft Fabric (desirable)
