Job description

Role Title: AWS DevOps Engineer

Duration: contract to run until 31/10/2025

Location: Remote

Rate: up to £460 p/d Umbrella inside IR35

Clearance required: Active SC Clearance

Role purpose / summary

Our client is looking for a hands on, Technical AWS DevOps Engineer to join the team

Key Skills/ requirements

• AWS Infrastructure Expertise - (EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, Lambda). Terraform & IaC (Infrastructure as Code) - (Terraform scripts for AWS infrastructure automation)
• AWS Workspaces Management - deploying, configuring, and optimizing AWS Workspaces for remote desktop solutions.
• CI/CD Pipeline Implementation -CI/CD tools - AWS CodePipeline and GitHub Actions. Cloud

Security & IAM -AWS security best practices, IAM roles, access control policies, and compliance frameworks.

• Monitoring & Logging -AWS CloudWatch for system performance monitoring and alerting.
• Networking - cloud networking (VPCs, subnets, load balancing, VPNs)
• Team Collaboration & Documentation - Ability to work in an agile DevOps environment, communicate effectively with development and operations teams, and document infrastructure solutions clearly.
