Job summary

Haskins Garden Centres is hiring a part-time Restaurant Assistant for Saturdays, 10:30am-5:30pm, 6.75 hours, up to £12.71 per hour. This fixed-term 12-week role involves serving at the food counters, making drinks, clearing tables and till operation in a busy restaurant environment.

Previous catering or hospitality experience is preferred but training is provided; a friendly, proactive team player will thrive in this role within an award-winning garden centre group.

Qualifications

• Previous catering, barista or hospitality experience preferred but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and train in hospitality duties.
• Strong customer service mindset and approachable manner.

Responsibilities

• Serving on the food counters and handling cash/Till operations.
• Making and serving chilled and hot drinks.
• Clearing tables and general housekeeping duties.
• Maintaining cleanliness and high presentation standards.
