Job summary

Expert Employment Limited is seeking a Payload Systems Engineer to work on RF and optical communications spacecraft equipment for receiving, processing, amplifying, and retransmitting signals.

You will contribute to technical delivery on projects, engage with universities and research centers, and support collaborative work on satellite payload communication systems.

Qualifications

• Deep technical design experience in satellite payload systems.
• Experience with Space Antennas.
• Experience with transponders, low power signalling, noise filtering, frequency conversion, and amplification.
• Experience with high power amplifiers (HPAs) and signal boosting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical project outcomes and provide consultancy to clients.
• Engage with universities and research centres on satellite payload systems.

Job description

Payload Systems Engineer required to work on radio frequency RF and optical communications spacecraft equipment to receive, process, amplify, and retransmit Earth Space and Space Earth communication signals.

Requirements

Requirements, deep technical design experience with one or more of

• Space Antennas.


• Transponders, low power signalling, noise filter, frequency conversion, and amplification.


• High Power Amplifiers or HPAs and associated signal boosting.


• Receivers and radio wave processors

In addition to one or more of the above you will have experience on collaborative projects and bid writing for framework programmes such as IUK, ESA or Horizon.

Responsibilities

Technical delivery on projects, technical consultancy to businesses, engagement with universities and Research centres on satellite payload communication systems.
