Position: Satellite AIT EGSE Engineer

Pay rate: £45.00 p/h inside IR35.

location: Stevenage

Role Type: Contract until Dec 2025 with an extension

iO Associates is looking for a skilled Satellite AIT EGSE Engineer to join one of the world's leading aerospace and defence innovators at their Stevenage site. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge space systems and support major satellite testing campaigns within a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve faults down to board/component level
  • Administer and maintain Windows/Linux systems and networks
  • Design, review, and support test specifications and EGSE documentation
  • Participate in overseas environmental and launch test campaigns

Required Skills:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or 5+ years of hands-on experience
  • Strong knowledge of RF/electronic test systems and interfaces (Mil-1553, CAN, ATE)
  • Proficient in scripting (bash, Python) and use of lab test equipment

This is a contract role until December 2025, with a high likelihood of extension.

Active SC clearance is essential.
