Job description

SARC Patient Crisis Worker - Slough - 24 hours

Location: Solace SARC, Slough, and additional locations through the South East
Salary: £12.89 per hour (£26,883.38 per annum Pro Rata, based on 40 hours FTE)
Part time: 24 Hours
Shift Pattern: 12 hours, Thursday and Friday

The role of Patient Crisis Worker is vital in supporting victims of sexual assault. You will act as an advocate, empowering service users to feel in control and supporting them through the forensic process, managing patient care pathways, and day-to-day service delivery.

The SPCW will also provide ongoing support after the initial visit, including follow-up calls, regular check-ins, and coordinating referrals such as housing support, as part of a six-week case management program. The role involves offering sensitive, non-judgmental support to help service users regain control, rebuild self-esteem, and progress positively in their recovery journey.
