We are seeking a professional with a comprehensive understanding of SAP architecture and an enterprise-wide perspective on complex SAP programs.

Responsibilities

1. Define, design, and deliver SAP architectural solutions.
2. Develop and manage documentation for each project phase, aligning with SAP best practices.
3. Create high-level solutions, including design, SOWs, service design, and BOMs.
4. Contribute to service delivery by identifying issues, providing insights, and recommending actions.
5. Gather and analyze business requirements from large client environments to develop technical proposals.
6. Coordinate assessment streams: business processes, technical architecture, change management, governance, vendor assessment, and negotiations.
7. Manage project team activities and deliverables.
8. Oversee assessment plans, monitor progress, and report risks.
9. Organize workshops and coordinate with vendors.
10. Support project coordination and stakeholder presentations.
11. Manage issue logs and escalate as needed.

Skills / Experience Required

1. 15+ years of experience.
2. Experience in architecting complex ERP projects, especially in large consumer companies.
3. Deep understanding of SAP ACTIVATE methodology and best practices.
4. Knowledge of all ERP project phases and deliverables.
5. Architectural expertise in SAP and its ecosystem.
6. TOGAF or equivalent certification is preferred.
7. Experience with SAP cloud deployments and migrations.
8. Hands-on experience with SAP on-premise and cloud architecture.
9. Ability to conduct meetings with technical and management stakeholders.
10. Strong understanding of SAP modules, integration options, BTP, CPI.
11. Technical knowledge of SAP, including ABAP, Fiori, and business processes.

Other Requirements

• Fluent in English; Italian language skills are a plus.
• Availability to travel monthly for 2-3 days to Parma, Italy.
• No restrictions to work across Europe as per project needs.
