Job summary

Birchman Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced SAP Senior Manufacturing Consultant / Lead with strong expertise across core manufacturing processes and SAP S/4HANA.

This role will play a key part in delivering high‑quality manufacturing solutions, guiding clients through complex production, planning, and shop‑floor transformations, and leading functional workstreams from initial design through to deployment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on SAP manufacturing experience (PP, QM).
• Proven full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations.
• Strong end-to-end manufacturing and SCM knowledge in S/4HANA.
• Ability to lead design, workshops, and client engagements.
• Deep knowledge of configuration, testing, and documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience mentoring team members or leading workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of SAP manufacturing solutions (PP, QM) within S/4HANA.
• Analyze requirements and translate needs into scalable system designs.
• Facilitate client workshops, solution walkthroughs, and decision sessions.
• Oversee configuration, testing, and integration across manufacturing modules.
• Collaborate with technical teams for end-to-end process alignment.
• Drive S/4HANA project activities, including fit-to-standard and deployment planning.
• Mentor junior consultants and promote knowledge sharing.
• Support cutover preparation, data migration, and post-go-live stabilisation.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and advise on options.

Overview

Birchman Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced SAP Senior Manufacturing Consultant / Lead with strong expertise across core manufacturing processes and SAP S/4HANA.

This role will play a key part in delivering high‑quality manufacturing solutions, guiding clients through complex production, planning, and shop‑floor transformations, and leading functional workstreams from initial design through to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP manufacturing solutions, including areas such as Production Planning, Manufacturing Execution, and Quality Management within S/4HANA
• Conduct detailed requirement analysis and translate business needs into scalable, future‑ready system designs
• Facilitate client workshops, solution walkthroughs, and functional decision‑making sessions
• Oversee configuration, testing, and integration activities across manufacturing and connected modules
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless end‑to‑end process alignment
• Drive key S/4HANA project activities, including fit‑to‑standard analysis, process optimisation, and deployment planning
• Mentor and guide junior consultants, promoting quality, consistency, and knowledge sharing
• Support cutover preparation, data migration, and post‑go‑live stabilisation
• Build strong and trusted relationships with client stakeholders, advising on best practices and solution options

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years hands‑on experience in SAP manufacturing, with strong capability across PP, QM, and related production processes
• Proven experience delivering full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end manufacturing and supply chain processes within S/4HANA
• Ability to lead solution design, workshops, and client engagement activities
• Deep knowledge of configuration, testing, and documentation within relevant modules
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience mentoring team members or leading functional workstreams

Nice to Have

• Experience with related modules such as MM, EWM, or PM
• Consulting background with exposure to multiple industries
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery approaches
• Understanding of SAP Fiori apps relevant to manufacturing and production
