Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a Project Manager to lead SAP SD and Project Systems delivery for a major defence client, migrating from SAP ECC6 to S/4HANA. You will oversee order-to-cash and project accounting processes, owning SD configuration and integration with FI/CO.

The role involves collaborating with multinational teams and third-party integrators, with 2–3 days per week onsite in Stevenage. The ideal candidate has proven SAP ECC and S/4HANA experience, migration know-how, and strong

Qualifications

Demonstrable experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
Experience migrating from ECC to S/4HANA and addressing potential issues.
Deep understanding of SD & PS integration with FI/CO, GTS, and MM.
Ability to manage projects and changes from start to finish.
Experience as a business partner, reviewing solution proposals.
Capable of operating within a formal change control process.

Responsibilities

Own SD configuration (order-to-cash) and SAP PS configuration and integration with FI/CO to support planning, budgeting, and costing.
Challenge custom development requests, advocating for standard SAP capabilities where possible.
Collaborate with other streams on integration topics, particularly FI/CO, MM, and GTS.
Support business change within the Programmes Business function.
Collaborate with multinational teams and third-party system integrators.
