Job summary

Square One Resources in London is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Transformation Architect to lead ECC to S/4HANA migration within a RISE with SAP environment. You will own the architecture and transformation strategy across migration, Clean Core, BTP, integration and governance.

The role involves defining the SDT/Bluefield approach and a global rollout across entities and geographies, plus managing cutover planning and governance for a complex, multi-country program.

SAP S/4 RISE Transformation Architect
London - Hybrid

SAP S/4HANA Transformation Architect needed to lead a major SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation using a Selective Data Transition (SDT/Bluefield) approach within a RISE with SAP environment. You will own the overall architecture and transformation strategy, covering migration, Clean Core, SAP BTP, integration, governance and the subsequent global rollout across multiple entities and geographies.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives:

• Lead the architecture for an end-to-end SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation.
• Define the transformation roadmap, global template, deployment waves and rollout strategy.
• Develop the target architecture aligned to SAP Best Practices and Clean Core principles.
• Define the Selective Data Transition strategy, including historical data, open transactions, master data and reporting requirements.
• Lead SDT design workshops and oversee migration tooling, trial migrations, reconciliation and cutover planning.
• Own architecture strategy within the RISE with SAP landscape.
• Define SAP BTP and side-by-side extension strategies.
• Establish architecture governance across functional, technical, integration, data and reporting workstreams.

Required Skills/Experience:

• SAP consulting and architecture experience.
• At least 2 completed end-to-end SAP S/4HANA RISE implementations as Lead Architect.
• Proven experience delivering an ECC to S/4HANA Selective Data Transition / Bluefield implementation.
• Experience leading large-scale SAP transformation programmes across multiple countries or legal entities.
• Strong SAP ECC and S/4HANA architecture knowledge.
• Strong experience with RISE with SAP and SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud.
• Strong understanding of SAP BTP and Clean Core architecture.
• Experience defining global templates and multi-country rollout strategies.
• Strong understanding of SAP integration and enterprise architecture.
• Selective Data Transition / Bluefield.
• Clean Core and SAP extensibility.
• APIs and event-driven integrations.
• Fiori and Fit-to-Standard.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Experience within Manufacturing, Chemicals, Automotive, Packaging or Industrial sectors.
• SAP carve-out, M&A or business consolidation experience.
• SAP FICO and broader SAP Core Modules.
