Job description

As a S/4 HANA Purchase to Pay Master Data Steward, you will partner with IT and SME resources to represent MDM and identify and resolve data and design gaps. In this role, you will lead local contacts through Data Mapping, Discovery, and Transformation. You will also leverage technical expertise to load and verify master data.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide cross-functional and geographic perspectives on data governance.
2. Provide leadership and suggestions for proactive data auditing and lifecycle management.
3. Implement data quality metrics and help interpret trends in data quality within your functional area or geography.
4. Monitor business conformity to governance rules and policies.
5. Drive the completion of assigned data auditing tasks.
6. Develop consistent procedures, processes, and tools across Integrated Services.
7. Protect the integrity and accuracy of data loaded into the SAP system.
8. Articulate the impact of master data on IT design, business processes, and end-user transactions.
9. Apply MDM governance rules and concepts to project work.
10. Provide coaching and knowledge transfer to key business partners.
11. Deliver training to educate local data analysts, business process owners, and stakeholders on data quality and governance.
12. Develop and refine global data documentation such as SOPs, Transaction Aids, and Job Aids.
13. Provide expert support to affiliates, sites, and outsourced partners by performing manual data entry and mass loads into the SAP Production environment.
14. Crosstrain and share daily production support workload with other data analysts.
15. Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and IT to resolve business problems.

Your Profile:

Essential skills, knowledge, and experience:

• Proven track record of leading SAP implementation and upgrade projects.
• Proficiency in SAP master data objects, including material master, vendor master, and purchasing info records.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles and data quality management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in SAP P2P master data management and process optimization.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Proactive and self-motivated, committed to continuous improvement and learning.
