Brief Summary of the role

Our client is undertaking a major business and system transformation, including multiple areas (S/4, Ariba, etc.), from a global design phase to rollout in more than 10 countries across Europe. This program reports directly to the C-Level board, and we are seeking a program director to liaise with the board.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Managing a business transformation program with a focus on C-Level relationships
• Connecting with various C-Levels to align on governance and strategic direction
• Managing stakeholder relationships and navigating a politically sensitive environment
• Overseeing the Steering Committee
• Managing program delivery and budget
• Leading Change Management and negotiating program modifications with the board
• Collaborating with the client-side business program director to ensure successful delivery

Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience delivering application development and product implementation projects
• Experience implementing ERP or large-scale solutions
• Managing Java and Cloud-based projects, preferably with Agile methodologies
• Strong understanding of Project Management principles and customer engagement from offshore
• Proficiency in creating and managing project plans using Microsoft Project (MPP)
• Experience in customer-facing roles and governance calls
• Experience managing all project phases from initiation to closure
• Extensive experience managing Java/web-based development projects
• Skills in scheduling, tracking, and time management
• Ability to work from the Heathrow office in London at least 3 days a week
• Project Management certification such as PMP or Prince2 Practitioner

Desired Skills include but are not limited to:

• Experience leading at least two full SAP lifecycle transformations, with exposure to S/4HANA
• Stakeholder management in complex environments and business transformations
• Fluent English communication skills
