Position

We are seeking an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Principal Consultant to lead and support a Greenfield S/4HANA implementation. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of SAP PM processes, hands-on configuration skills, and strong business consulting experience. This role requires the ability to translate business requirements into system solutions and work closely with stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and implementation of SAP PM module in an S/4HANA Greenfield environment.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, translating them into effective SAP PM solutions.
• Configure SAP PM module, including functional specs for enhancements and interfaces.
• Integrate PM processes with other SAP modules (MM, PP, QM, EAM, etc.).
• Develop and deliver workshops, demos, and training sessions for key users and business leads.
• Work with technical teams to support development of custom objects, data migration, and integrations.
• Support testing, cutover planning, and Hypercare activities.
• Provide strategic input into system architecture and process optimization aligned with industry best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience with SAP PM, including at least 2 full-cycle implementations.
• Proven experience with S/4HANA Greenfield implementations.
• Strong functional knowledge of Plant Maintenance processes, including notifications, work orders, preventive maintenance, and equipment management.
• Familiar with Fiori apps, SAP Activate methodology, and S/4HANA simplifications.
• Ability to map business requirements to system functionality with a focus on usability and scalability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead workshops and present solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field; SAP certification is a plus.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience in asset-intensive industries (e.g., utilities, oil & gas, manufacturing).
• Exposure to integration with mobile maintenance solutions, IoT, or predictive maintenance.
• Familiarity with EAM or Linear Asset Management.
