Job description

Magellan Aerospace UK has an exciting opportunity for a SAP OTC Support.

  • Full Time Permanent Contract
  • 39 hours per week
  • Remote work location

In this role, you will collaborate with SAP functional, technical, and architecture teams, as well as other key business resources. Your responsibilities include providing functional support for the implementation of the module, liaising with the business to define requirements, configuring the system, conducting testing, transferring knowledge, and offering technical support for the operation of the module.

Business Processes

  • Drive standardization of business processes using SAP out-of-the-box solutions
  • Guide teams on best practices for SAP Order-to-Cash processes
  • Minimize customizations by leveraging standard functionalities
  • Participate in designing integrations with non-SAP systems using IDOCs, EDI, File, RFC, etc.
  • Maintain EDI maps for various transaction sets
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for system integration
  • Troubleshoot SAP and non-SAP system integration issues
  • Handle advanced sales processes, intercompany sales, stock transfers, availability checks, and billing planning

Configuration and Testing

  • Support SAP S/4HANA OTC configuration, develop scenarios, and conduct tests based on business needs

Data Migration

  • Identify relevant master and transactional data for phased migrations
  • Contribute to data migration efforts with functional and IT teams
  • Support data cleansing and extraction using tools like LSMW, BDC, LTMC, LTMOM

Training and Advisory

  • Train internal teams on specific modules and functionalities
  • Advise business and IT on SAP S/4HANA features
  • Stay updated with S/4HANA roadmap, conduct internal POCs for new features

Position Requirements

  • Higher education or relevant degree preferred
  • Technical certifications are a plus but not mandatory

Experience

  • At least 3 years of SAP OTC experience
  • Participation in minimum one full S/4HANA implementation
  • Experience in SAP configuration and process optimization
  • Strong understanding of SAP module integration points
  • Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative skills
  • Ability to work under deadlines and support team members
