Job summary

ZEISS is seeking a SAP Product Data & Compliance Analyst to support the management, governance and continuous improvement of critical engineering data. You will maintain product structures, BOMs and compliance information, ensuring data accuracy that underpins world-leading scientific instrumentation.

In this role you will work with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain teams, driving data governance and using modern data tools to improve reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems handling master data or BOMs.
• Strong focus on data accuracy, governance and compliance.
• Background in engineering, manufacturing, or product environments.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and translate findings into practical actions.
• Degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.

SAP PRODUCT DATA & COMPLIANCE ANALYST

Working within the Microscopy Research & Development department at ZEISS, we are looking for a SAP Product Data & Compliance Analyst to support the management, governance and continuous improvement of critical engineering and product data. You’ll play a key role in maintaining product structures, Bills of Materials and compliance information, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data that underpins world-leading scientific instrumentation.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Managing and maintaining SAP material master data and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Identifying, investigating and resolving data quality issues, omissions and inconsistencies
• Supporting product compliance and export control activities by providing accurate technical information
• Working closely with engineering, manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure product data integrity
• Driving improvements in data governance, reporting and analysis, including the use of modern data tools and techniques

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Experience working with SAP or a similar ERP system, maintaining master data, product data or Bills of Materials
• Strong attention to detail with a passion for data accuracy, governance and compliance
• Experience within an engineering, manufacturing, technical or product‑based environment
• Ability to analyse large data sets, identify issues and implement practical solutions
• Degree qualified, or equivalent experience, within Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline
