Capita have a rare opportunity for an experienced SAP IDM Consultant to join us and support our existing implementation, including on-going and new projects. The ideal candidate will need excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of SAP IDM and how this connects and interacts with other systems.
They will work closely with internal customers to understand business requirements, develop solutions that meet those needs, and oversee the implementation of those solutions.

Job Description:What you'll be doing:- Ability to develop custom connectors for IDM to integrate with external systems, such as RESTAPI, JDBC.
- A strong understanding of standard connectors such as SCIM, Active Directory and SAP.
- A strong understanding of SAP HCM and how it is used and configured in SAP IDM, including ability to configure the Virtual Directory.
- Proficient scripting skills in JavaScript and PowerShell.
- Proficient in SQL.
- Proficient in SAP IDM Developer Studio, building tasks, process, workflows and jobs.
- Troubleshooting and debugging IDM processes.
- Troubleshooting errors when IDM tries to perform an operation to an external system.
- Understand how to retrieve audit changes and prove what changes occurred.
- Strong understanding of key systems such as Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, Exchange Online and SAP ABAP systems.
- Understanding LDAPS.
- Understanding and building RBAC (Role Based Access Control).
- Understanding SAP IDM authorization model.
- Building policies for automated access assignments.
- Understanding SAP IDM RESTAPIs and building forms to be consumed as APIs.
What we're looking for:- Experience in a SAP IDM Consultant position.
- Experience with configuring and managing Identity Authentication Service and Identity Provisioning Service.
- Understanding of SAP NetWeaver stack and troubleshooting errors.
- Understanding of Windows, Linux and Sybase ASE.
- Building IDM reports.
- Demonstrate strong solution architecting skills to provide client driven requirements.
- Certification in SAP IDM (Desirable).
- TOGAF or equivalent (Desirable).
- CISSP or equivalent (Desirable).
