Job Description:

We are looking for an SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Functional Analyst to join a specialised team of SAP Professionals within our IT department. The team is responsible for ongoing support of two SAP systems across two divisions, using a DevSecOps approach to change.

While there is an established SAP GTS system in our Helicopters division requiring immediate support, we will also be rolling out SAP GTS in the Electronics division. This is an excellent time to join the team on this journey.

As an SAP Functional Analyst, you will have a foundation in SAP consultation related to Global Trade Services and will be responsible for supporting, designing, implementing, and deploying SAP solutions to meet business goals.

The role involves remote work, with up to 80% of your time based at home. The remaining time will be spent attending one of our main sites (Luton, Basildon, Yeovil, Edinburgh, Southampton).

SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) Functional Analyst Responsibilities:

• Deliver projects from design to completion to achieve business objectives.
• Coordinate and supervise team members' activities.
• Take ownership of and resolve complex technical problems within your GTS specialty.
• Prioritize work to meet SLAs for incidents, problems, change requests, and projects.
• Work with the business to analyze requirements and design solutions.
• Support migration projects as needed.
• Translate business requirements into solution frameworks and architectures.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams for incident and problem resolution.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and obtain acceptance for deliverables.
• Adhere to internal and external standards for solutions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as an SAP GTS Functional Analyst.
• Deep understanding of SAP GTS and ability to analyze and implement system changes.
• Experience working closely with business stakeholders and acting as a Subject Matter Expert in GTS.
• Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral).
• Experience implementing SAP GTS as a Greenfield project.
• Experience integrating SAP GTS with Customs Declaration Systems.
