Job summary

Cadent seeks an SAP Functional Manager to lead the SAP capability, shaping how SAP solutions are designed, delivered, and supported across the organisation. You will own the SAP Functional roadmap, build an in-house capability, and oversee multi-workstream delivery with delivery teams, architects, suppliers and stakeholders.

This highly visible role combines strategy and hands-on delivery, driving continuous improvement and ensuring SAP systems deliver value aligned to business priorities.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• SAP professional qualification in a relevant field.
• Experience in SAP environments within complex or regulated organisations.

Lead the SAP capability that powers Cadent's operations

As anSAP Functional Managerat Cadent, you'll play a key role in leading theSAP Functional team, shaping how we design, deliver and support SAP solutions across the organisation. This is a leadership role at the heart of ourapplication management and transformation capability, ensuring that SAP systems are aligned to business priorities and delivering maximum value.

You'll be responsible for building and managing an in-house SAP functional capability, overseeing development, configuration and delivery across multiple workstreams. Working closely with delivery teams, architects, suppliers and stakeholders, you'll ensure solutions are designed to meet business needs, delivered to a high standard and supported effectively in operation.

You're an experienced SAP leader with strong functional knowledge and the ability to operate across strategy and delivery.

SAP Functional Expertise

• - Deep knowledge across SAP modules such as FICO, SD, CRM/CX, PM, EWM, MM, HR/Payroll and Procurement
• - Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA environments and connected systems

Leadership & Delivery Experience

• - Proven experience leading and managing SAP functional teams
• - Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities and delivery commitments
• - Experience overseeing third-party delivery and integrations
• - Experience shaping SAP strategies and roadmaps aligned to business needs
• - Strong understanding of how SAP supports operational and commercial outcomes

Technical & Integration Awareness

• - Knowledge of SAP-connected systems and integrations (e.g. ESRI, Click/NextGen)
• - Awareness of cloud environments such as AWS and integration platforms like SAP CPI

Stakeholder & Communication Skills

• - Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
• - Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
