Job summary

Involved Solutions in London (Canary Wharf) is seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant (Project Systems) to join our permanent, full-time team. You will design and configure SAP PS, define project structures, and support end-to-end processes across planning, budgeting, costing and billing.

The role offers a hybrid working model with 3–4 days onsite per week, a competitive salary up to £90k plus bonus and benefits, and the opportunity to work on enterprise-scale SAP S/4HANA Professional

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP Project Systems configuration and implementation.
• Proven background in SAP S/4HANA Professional Services environments.
• Knowledge of SAP Commercial Product Management (CPM).
• Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, costing, billing and project financial management.
• Experience integrating SAP PS with SD, FI/CO, Time Management and related modules.
• Producing functional specifications, testing documentation and solution designs.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer-focused approach with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and translate into scalable SAP PS solutions.
• Configure SAP PS including project definitions, WBS elements, cost planning, budget profiles and settlement rules.
• Design and support project planning, budgeting, scheduling, costing and project financial management processes.
• Configure professional services billing including Time & Materials, Fixed Price, Milestone Billing and Resource Related Billing.
• Integrate SAP PS with SAP SD, FI/CO, HR and external systems.
• Support time recording, expense management and resource planning integrations.
• Configure revenue recognition, project settlements and financial reporting; develop profitability reporting and MI.
• Produce functional specs, process docs, test scenarios and solution designs.
• Deliver workshops, user training and business demonstrations.
• Provide L2/L3 functional support and identify opportunities to optimize processes and automate manual activities.

Job description

Salary: £68,000 - 108,000 per year

Requirements:

• Strong experience configuring SAP Project Systems (PS)
• Experience working within SAP S/4HANA Professional Services environments
• Knowledge of SAP Commercial Project Management (CPM)
• Strong understanding of project planning, costing, billing and project financial management
• Experience integrating SAP PS with SD, FI/CO, Time Management and related SAP modules
• Experience producing functional specifications, testing documentation and solution designs
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Customer focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• SAP PS Certification is desirable
• Experience delivering SAP Professional Services implementations is desirable
• Experience supporting enterprise SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes is desirable
• Knowledge of SuccessFactors, Replicon, Concur or ProFinda integrations is desirable
