SAP FPSL Functional Consultant - Consultant/Manager Level

We're looking for an experienced SAP FPSL Functional Consultant to play a key role in delivering a high-impact finance transformation project within a major banking environment.

As an SAP FPSL Functional Consultant, you'll lead the design and implementation of IFRS 9-compliant solutions, working across multi-core source systems in a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

1. Lead configuration and deployment of SAP FPSL with a focus on IFRS 9 accounting standards.
2. Design event-based accounting models and subledger-to-GL mappings.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to define accounting frameworks and financial product mappings.
4. Oversee seamless integration from multiple core banking systems into FPSL.
5. Support UAT planning and system validation alongside QA teams.

About You

1. 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP FPSL in a banking or financial context.
2. Strong grasp of IFRS 9, financial instruments, and subledger accounting.
3. Proven experience integrating FPSL with complex, multi-source environments.
4. Solid understanding of ledger architecture, account determination, and financial reporting.
5. Bonus: SAP FPSL or legacy certifications (e.g. Smart AFI, Bank Analyzer)
