SAP FPSL Technical Consultant

Role: SAP FPSL Technical Consultant
Duration: 9-12 Months/April Start

Skills & Experience Required:

We are seeking an experienced SAP FPSL Technical Consultant to support the data integration, configuration, and technical architecture of FPSL in a complex financial landscape. This role involves the design and development of multi-source data flows, IFRS 9-compliant accounting logic, and FPSL customization.

The consultant will collaborate with functional teams, finance, and IT to ensure FPSL aligns with core banking systems, general ledgers, and risk reporting structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance SAP FPSL technical components, including data models, calculation engines, and event-based accounting rules.
• Build and optimize FPSL data integration with multiple core banking and financial systems.
• Design and implement accounting rules engines and subledger mappings for IFRS 9 compliance.
• Develop custom ABAP, BAdIs, and user exits to enhance FPSL functionality.
• Implement data transformation, extraction (ETL), and reconciliation processes for high-volume financial transactions.
• Optimize system performance and ensure FPSL meets audit and compliance requirements.
• Support technical testing, debugging, and resolution of FPSL-related issues.

Skills & Experience Required :

• 7+ years of experience in SAP FPSL technical development, ABAP, and data modelling.
• Strong expertise in data integration and ETL from multiple core banking/finance systems into FPSL.
• Hands-on experience with FPSL tables, data structures, and calculation engine customization.
• Certifications - S/4HANA ABAP is a plus.
