Role: Sap Financial Product Sub-ledger (SAP FPSL) Technical Consultant

Job Description:

Your responsibilities: (Up to 10, Avoid repetition)

1. Design and implement SAP FPSL architecture and technical solutions in a banking environment.
2. Configure FPSL rules, event-based processing, and ledger postings to support financial reporting and compliance.
3. Manage the integration of FPSL with SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP HANA.
4. Develop data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for financial data.
5. Work on HANA-based data modelling, CDS Views, Calculation Views, and SQL Scripting.
6. Implement custom logic for financial calculations, cost allocations, and regulatory reporting.
7. Support enhancements for subledger-to-general-ledger reconciliation in a multi-ledger environment.
8. Ensure FPSL meets UK banking regulations (IFRS 9, IFRS 17, Basel III, FCA, PRA, SOX, PCI-DSS).
9. Support financial risk calculations, loan loss provisions, and Real Time financial analytics.
10. Provide Level 2/3 support for FPSL technical issues, debugging, and performance tuning.
11. Manage FPSL system upgrades, patches, and enhancements in alignment with business needs.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience: (Up to 10, Avoid repetition)

1. SAP FPSL Expertise: 3+ years of experience in SAP FPSL implementation, configuration, and technical support.
2. SAP HANA & Data Modeling: Strong knowledge of HANA SQLScript, CDS Views, Calculation Views, and stored procedures.
3. Banking & Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of IFRS 9, IFRS 17, Basel III, FCA, PRA, and regulatory reporting requirements.
4. SAP Landscape: Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP BW, and Fiori integration.
5. Integration & Cloud: Experience in SAP FPSL integration with core banking systems, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
