Job summary

A leading company in London is seeking an SAP S4 Finance Lead to deliver Record to Report solutions in an Agile environment. The role involves client engagement, configuration of S/4HANA, and ensuring process integration. Ideal candidates will have demonstrable experience in finance and controlling, along with strong communication skills. This is a hybrid position with a 6-month rolling contract.

• Experience managing senior-level client relationships.

SAP S4 Finance Lead - Record to Report

• Lead the work to deliver Record to Report S/4 HANA solutions in an Agile programme
• Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement from an R2R perspective
• Agrees Minimum Viable Product for a functioning solution
• Ensures that specifications, interface mapping and configuration documents are produced to the required standard
• Leads the configuration of S/4HANA according to agreed design
• Gathers, understands and documents business requirements
• Ensures process integration by working with all relevant teams and consultants
• Performs unit and functional unit tests
• Provides best practice consultancy advice
• Recommends and agrees an approach to cutover for relevant capabilities
• Supports the business in defining roles & profiles
• Ensures appropriate test scenarios and scripts are in place for SIT
• Supports the Test team and the business users in UAT
• Assists with Cutover and Data Migration
• Advises on training and change
• Provides Solution Knowledge Transfer as required

Key Skills:

• Demonstrable experience as an S/4HANA Workstream Lead within Finance & Controlling over several lifecycles
• Experience managing senior-level client relationships
• Evidence of communication skills and relationship management within a hybrid team
• Capable of prioritising tasks into manageable work products
• Proven skills in delivering solutions in a complex finance environment
• Capable of dealing with both business and technical team members
• Experience of projects using Activate or other Agile methodology
