Job summary

A leading manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support and enhance their SAP S/4HANA Finance operations. This contract role involves collaboration with finance stakeholders to drive process improvements and requires proficiency in key finance domains including General Ledger and Accounts Payable. Ideal candidates will be based in Belfast or be open to remote work within the UK with occasional visits to Belfast.

Qualifications

Location: Belfast or UK Remote (Belfast visit approx every 2 months)

Start Date: ASAP or within 6 weeks

Contract Length: 3 Months Initial (Extensions Likely)

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join a leading manufacturing organisation on a contract basis. The role will focus on supporting and enhancing SAP S/4HANA Finance operations across core areas such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.

You’ll collaborate with Finance stakeholders to understand business needs, drive process improvements, and support key finance transformation initiatives.

• Proven experience in SAP FICO, ideally within S/4HANA environments
• Strong understanding of GL, AR, AP, AA, CO (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders)
• Ability to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and propose effective solutions
• Experience working with finance teams in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Comfortable bridging functional and technical discussions
• Ideally Belfast-based or open to remote within the UK – occasional visits to Belfast (approx. every 2 months)
