Job summary

Ampstek is seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Functional Consultant for a Cardiff-based role with hybrid working (3 days onsite / 2 days remote). Immediate start on a 6-month contract. Applicants must have 7+ years in SAP ECC FI and be eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities include production support, issue triage, and collaborating with business users to optimize finance processes. Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP ECC FI experience.

• Identify causes of manual processing, rework, workarounds, spreadsheet dependencies, and approval delays.
• Review reporting and interface complexity affecting Finance operations.
• Analyze ticket trends and recurring production issues.
• Participate in findings reviews and prioritize assessment areas.
• Document findings and contribute to Phase 1 report-out and plan of action.
• Recommend improvements aligned with SAP standard best practices.
