Job summary

Searchability is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Consultant to support a major transformation. You will lead a Finance workstream, drive requirements, design solutions, and oversee data migration and testing across the SAP landscape.

The role requires strong experience in GL, AP/AR or Asset Accounting, plus integration knowledge with PS/CO is advantageous. Mostly remote with about one day onsite weekly in Frimley, Surrey, for a 12-month contract.

Qualifications

• Experience as SAP Finance Functional Consultant on S/4HANA projects.
• Experience in end-to-end SAP testing and integration tasks.
• Ability to lead at least one core Finance area (GL/AP-AR/Asset).
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills.
• Experience migrating master and transactional data in SAP.
• Knowledge of PS/CO integration is desirable.
• Experience on large-scale SAP transformation programmes is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead independently in at least one core Finance area within a major S/4HANA implementation.
• Support requirements, solution delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
• Contribute to data migration and end-to-end testing processes.
• Ensure integration of Finance processes across the SAP landscape.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.

ABOUT THE CLIENT:

Our client is undertaking a major SAP S/4HANA transformation programme and is looking for an experienced Finance Functional Consultant to support the delivery of key finance capabilities. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders, taking ownership of a Finance workstream and supporting implementation, migration and testing activities.

THE SAP S/4HANA FINANCE FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT ROLE:

As an SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Consultant, you will play a key role within a major S/4HANA implementation, using your functional expertise to lead independently in at least one core Finance area.

You will work across the full implementation lifecycle, supporting requirements, solution delivery and stakeholder engagement. You will also contribute to master and transactional data migration, end-to-end testing and the successful integration of Finance processes across the wider SAP landscape.

The ideal candidate will have experience across GL, AP/AR or Asset Accounting, with additional knowledge of integration with Project Systems (PS) and Controlling (CO) highly desirable.
