Contract Role: SAP FICO & EPPM Consultant (S/4HANA Private & Public Cloud) - Outside IR35

Location: Hybrid / Remote-first (occasional client site visits)
Contract: Competitive day rate

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Functional Lead with expertise in SAP S/4HANA Private and Public Cloud to join our consultancy team. You will design, implement, and optimise SAP FICO and Enterprise Portfolio & Project Management (EPPM / Project Systems) solutions, driving transformation in finance and project management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP FICO modules (AP, AR, GL, Asset Accounting, etc.) in cloud environments.

• Implement and integrate EPPM/Project Systems for project control (e.g., engineer-to-order, cost capture, material & labour integration into FICO).

• Conduct business process analysis and lead workshops with stakeholders.

• Drive data migration to SAP S/4HANA Cloud ensuring accuracy and integrity.

• Integrate FICO with SAP modules (MM, SD) and external systems.

• Deliver testing, training, documentation, and post-go-live support.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise end-to-end processes.

Experience & Skills:

• 5+ years SAP FICO experience, including 2+ years in SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Private and/or Public).

• Proven track record in end-to-end SAP FICO implementations (ECC and S/4HANA).

• Strong knowledge of FICO submodules (GL, AR, AP, Asset Accounting, Cost & Profit Centre Accounting, Internal Orders).

• Experience with SAP Project Systems / EPPM integration.

• Solid understanding of accounting, compliance, and reporting standards.

• Strong integration skills (SAP & non-SAP systems).

• Excellent communication, workshop facilitation, and client-facing skills.

• SAP Fiori knowledge is advantageous.
