Job summary

Michael Page (UK) seeks a SAP FICO Analyst for a permanent hybrid role in Manchester. You will analyse SAP queries, configure SAP FICO S/4HANA, and provide 3rd line internal support to ensure smooth daily SAP operations.

You will coach teammates, gather requirements, test updates, and maintain clear documentation while collaborating with Technology colleagues to prioritise requests and monitor performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP systems and resolving user or system issues.
• Ability to investigate problems and identify root causes.
• Experience gathering requirements and documenting system changes clearly.
• Knowledge of testing system updates and supporting successful implementation.
• Confidence working with SAP users and Technology colleagues on day-to-day requests.
• Ability to manage competing tasks and keep system documentation accurate.

Responsibilities

• Analyse SAP system queries and issues, maintaining reliable day-to-day use.
• Configure SAP FICO S4/HANA with minimal supervision per policies.
• Provide coaching and support for team members.
• Provide 3rd line internal SAP support when 2nd line cannot address customer issues.
• Investigate faults, identify root causes and coordinate solutions.
• Gather requirements and translate into SAP changes.
• Support testing of SAP updates before release.
• Maintain documentation for processes and known issues.
• Prioritise SAP requests with Technology colleagues.
• Monitor SAP performance and suggest improvements.
• Guide users on SAP processes and functionality.

Job Description

• Analyse SAP system queries and issues, helping to maintain reliable day-to-day system use.
• Carry out SAP FICO S4/HANA configuration (with minimal supervision) with adherence to internal policies and procedures.
• Provide coaching and support for other team members, promoting good team working generally.
• Provide 3rd line internal customer support when 2nd line SAP support cannot address the customer's issue.
• Investigate faults, identify root causes and coordinate practical solutions with relevant teams.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into clear SAP system changes.
• Support the testing of SAP updates and changes before they are introduced.
• Maintain clear documentation for system processes, changes and known issues.
• Work with Technology colleagues to prioritise SAP requests and resolve them in a timely way.
• Monitor SAP performance and highlight areas where system processes could be improved.
• Provide clear guidance to users on SAP processes and system functionality.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'SAP FICO Analyst' should have:
