Job description

SAP EWM Consultant - Germany (Remote) - Permanent opportunity

I am currently supporting a global SAP logistics consultancy on their search for an SAP EWM Consultant to join their growing team in Germany on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

1. Management and implementation of projects and sub-projects in the EWM area for national and international customers
2. Collaboration with other SAP teams to ensure smooth operation of the entire SAP landscape
3. Supporting the development of the consulting team in the area of SAP EWM
4. Consulting on the optimization of business processes in warehouse logistics and their interfaces to other business areas (purchasing, finance, controlling, production, QM)
5. Conception and implementation of SAP solutions in the area of Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) incl. interfaces (MM, FICO, PP, QM)
6. Conception for mapping customer requirements with SAP EWM
7. Coordination of customizing and developments
8. Preparation, coordination and implementation of tests
9. Preparation and implementation of training courses for key users
10. Planning and accompanying rollouts, go-live support
11. Support in the preparation of project offers

Experience required:

1. Several years of experience in SAP EWM consulting (knowledge of other SAP modules is an advantage)
2. Project experience in the implementation of SAP solutions in the SAP EWM Environment
3. Know-how in supply chain management in the pharmaceutical, mechanical engineering, automotive, food or retail industries
4. Conceptual and analytical methodological competence as well as initiative and enthusiasm
5. Leadership skills to manage (junior) consultants
6. Fluency in German and English
