As an SAP Engagement Manager, you will lead engagements to transform our client’s businesses throughout the full lifecycle of a project. The SAP Engagement Manager role is diverse and can involve input into the pre-sales cycle to project delivery. Responsibilities include managing contract schedules, planning, mobilising, and leading the implementation of SAP and related software in Agile and Waterfall environments.

Your role

1. Assist in the sales process to help shape new propositions.
2. Manage the transition from sales to delivery teams.
3. Deliver against contractual obligations, managing scope, costs, quality, and client satisfaction.
4. Provide clear status and project reports internally and to clients.
5. Lead and motivate high-performing teams, supporting their development.
6. Maintain client relationships at Senior Management level (CxO-1 or above).
7. Oversee delivery governance, risk management, quality assurance, and achievement of KPIs.
8. Manage key delivery processes: commercial, financial, and stakeholder management.
9. Maintain required Capgemini EM Certification levels appropriate to project complexity.

Your profile

• Experience with all aspects of SAP delivery, including handover to support.
• Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Proven experience working on SAP projects across various industries and clients.
• Strong communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience managing large, global, and distributed teams.
• Enjoy mentoring and sharing knowledge within the team and wider SAP practice.

Your Security Clearance

Successful candidates must obtain Developed Vetting (DV) clearance, which requires residing continuously in the UK for the past 10 years and meeting other detailed criteria. You will be asked about your security clearance eligibility during recruitment, including nationality and residence status. Some roles are restricted to UK nationals for security reasons.
