Job Description:

Equans is looking for a SAP Domain Lead (HR/Payroll) to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus, and benefits package.

This role is hybrid, with occasional travel to the Northeast.

Reporting to the ERP Service Delivery Manager within the UK SAP ERP Service Delivery Team (SDT), the Domain Lead will serve as the primary link between our SAP ERP support partners and the HR and Payroll stakeholders at Equans UK.

The role is key to expanding the use of SAP ERP systems to support business growth, ensuring a stable and scalable HR & Payroll platform.

The Domain Lead will maximize value for HR and Payroll stakeholders, align product priorities with business expectations, co-create the 12-24 month roadmap, and lead a major Payroll integration project.

As the SAP ERP Payroll and HR Subject Matter Expert, the role involves providing functional guidance on process, data, system design, security, reporting, KPIs, and legal compliance.

What will you deliver?

• Evaluating SAP ERP HR & Payroll Service Pack releases and notes, coordinating release cycles
• Assessing business change requests and documenting requirements
• Developing and executing testing strategies
• Ensuring system integration testing and supporting Business Acceptance Testing
• Planning production releases
• Leading projects and acting as the main contact point for requirements analysis
• Drafting solution recommendations
• Adhering to Equans UK standards and Agile practices
• Ensuring new solutions do not adversely affect business or services
• Reviewing SAP ERP initiatives and reporting on functionality
• Participating in Special Interest Group meetings
• Managing improvement workshops with business teams
• Contributing ideas for service improvements
• Incorporating stakeholder feedback and aligning with SAP ERP roadmap

Who are we looking for?

• Degree-qualified or equivalent
• Proven experience supporting SAP ERP HR/Payroll
• Background in Payroll/HR processes or SAP ERP functionality
• Ability to investigate complex SAP issues and articulate solutions
• Relevant IT or Business process certifications
