As a SAP Delivery Lead you will play a crucial role using your in-depth SAP expertise, to coach and indirectly manage team at our paper mills both in the UK and Europe on designing and delivering solutions (including digital interfaces) and Manufacturing Work Systems (MWS). This role provides support to various internal customers including our Paper Mills, Corporate SAP Plant Maintenance Team, GMS Team, IT, Reliability COE, Purchasing and Stores, and Finance. This role evaluates and authorises paper mill requests for application improvements or adjustments. Supports functionality and utilisation of SAP Plant Maintenance. Evaluates and resolves inconsistent master data working with the SAP Project Management Team.

This role provides support to various internal customers including our Paper Mills, Corporate SAP Plant Maintenance Team, GMS Team, IT, Reliability COE, Purchasing and Stores, and Finance. This role evaluates and authorises paper mill requests for application improvements or adjustments. Supports functionality and utilisation of SAP Plant Maintenance. Evaluates and resolves inconsistent master data working with the SAP Project Management Team.
This role analyses and supports planner and supervisor training development for SAP. Coordinates training needs with the SAP Project Management team to elevate the facility’s knowledge of SAP and MWS.
This will be a Remote based role but will require travel both UK and Europe wide approximately 30-50% of the time, and a willingness to provide assistance 24/7 to manufacturing facilities.
Other Role Responsibilities
- Provide support to global manufacturing facilities to improve reliability and use of these systems
- Ensure SAP processes align with reliability elements and enable GMS and Manufacturing Excellence.
- Provide support to ensure that Group policies, procedures and communication support a culture of zero accidents.
- Become expert resource on business warehouse and help facilities track and analyze the reliability, maintenance, and operating data available in SAP.
- Develops, owns, and maintain standards in close alignment with ops team. Provides learnings in form of best available technology documents (BAT documents) and facilitates training.
- Facilitate the implementation of MWS/SAP practices by creating effective networks between different manufacturing location champions and IT/SAP PM personnel.
- Provide ongoing mentoring and leadership when providing personal consulting and interacting with facilities.
Person Specification
- Knowledge of process equipment design, construction and operation is important.
- Leadership skills and abilities to motivate and to influence both exempt and nonexempt team members with widely varying knowledge and experience levels
- Comfortable around Senior Leaders and employees; this position interacts with all levels within the organization, across different cultures and languages within operations. The individual must adapt as the situation requires and maintain positive outcomes.
- Expertise in SAP/Computerized Maintenance Management System usage and process knowledge
- Extensive working knowledge of MWS
- Supporting extensive domestic and international travel requirements
- Experience in project management/coordination.
- Experience in implementing reliability systems/program
- Execution Skills
- Comfortable dealing with global cultural differences
- Willing to Build on Existing Systems rather than create new ones
