Job summary

FalconSmartIT is seeking an experienced SAP Data & Analytics Lead to design and deliver enterprise data models using SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) on onsite in London. You will lead architecture, data pipelines, governance, and cross-functional collaboration with Finance and IT.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in SAP data solutions, strong hands-on ability, and proven leadership to mentor a small team of developers through end-to-end delivery including ECC to S/4HANA

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT experience with core SAP Data & Analytics.
• Hands-on experience in SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Finance data modelling & analytics expertise.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration and data warehousing impacts.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, architecture, and implementation of data models and analytics using SAP Datasphere and SAC.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, ODS models, and data integration in Datasphere for Finance and cross-functional domains.
• Collaborate with Finance to translate requirements into scalable data models and dashboards.
• Provide hands-on development in Datasphere, data fabric, and SAC including KPIs and dashboards.
• Establish data governance, lineage, and security practices within Datasphere and SAC.
• Integrate data from SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, and other sources; support ECC to S4HANA transformations.
• Mentor a small team of developers while delivering technical solutions.
• Align data models with KPIs, regulatory requirements, and financial planning processes.
• Perform performance tuning of large datasets for faster reporting.

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Data & Analytics Lead with 10 12+ years of expertise in SAP data solutions, particularly SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). The ideal candidate will have strong functional and technical experience in Finance data modeling and analytics, along with hands-on development skills. A proven ability to lead design, implementation, and end-to-end delivery of SAP Data & Analytics solutions is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-level data models and analytics solutions using SAP Datasphere and SAC.
• Build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines, ODS models, and data integration(In/out) in Datasphere for various Finance and cross-functional domains.
• Collaborate closely with Finance stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient data models and analytical reports.
• Provide hands-on development in Datasphere, data fabric, and SAC, including advanced calculations, KPIs, and dashboarding.
• Establish best practices for data governance, lineage, and security within Datasphere and SAC environments.
• Integrate data from SAP S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, third-party sources, and cloud systems into Datasphere. And should have experience in transformation projects like ECC to S4HANA and actively worked with functional on data warehousing reporting impacts.
• Manage and mentor a small team of developers while remaining actively engaged in technical solutioning and development.
• Ensure alignment of data models and reports with business KPIs, regulatory requirements, and financial planning processes.
• Perform performance tuning of large datasets, ensuring efficient queries and faster reporting outputs.
• Work with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Data Governance, Architecture) to ensure end-to-end lifecycle delivery of data and analytics solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10 12+ years of IT experience with core expertise in SAP Data & Analytics.
• Strong hands-on experience in:
• SAP Datasphere (data modeling, semantic modeling, integration, transformations).
• SAP Analytics Cloud (story building, planning, predictive features, dashboarding).
• Data integration technologies and cloud data solutions.
• Functional understanding and proven experience with Finance data modeling & analytics.
• Experience integrating with SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP data sources. Should have hands on experience on modeling for FI(GL,AP,AR,AA, and CO) processes.
• Strong grasp of data governance, lineage, performance optimization, and data security concepts.
• Proven ability to design and implement end-to-end analytics solutions from requirements gathering to production rollout.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• SAP Certification(s) in SAC and Datasphere/Data Fabric preferred.

• Experience working in onsite client environments with stakeholder collaboration.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, analytical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
