Airbus Defence & Space in Newport is seeking an IT- SAP/ERP Finance & Controlling senior specialist. The role involves supporting SAP systems (including S/4HANA), enhancing finance modules, and collaborating across the DIGITAL organization with key business users.

The position offers a full-time, hybrid working arrangement. Ideal candidates will have SAP FICO expertise, a strong customer and delivery focus, and the ability to lead functional discussions while coordinating with developers on ABAP

Formación

• Experienced in SAP FICO domain.
• Proficient with ERP Finance modules: AA, GL, AP, AR and CO.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA environment and integration considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide support on the SAP systems of Airbus Defence & Space (including new solution S4 hana), implement enhancements & projects on this system taking into account the guidelines of Airbus Defence & Space to manage them.
• Integrate the SAP FICO team with an open mindset to ensure an excellent team work inside the DIGITAL organisation and with the business (key) users.
• Support the team in all the new requirements they have coming from the key users.
• Understand their needs and propose solutions to their issues/requirements.
• Proven functional skills in ERP Finance (configuration, integration aspects in AA, GL, AP, AR and TR, CO modules).
• Role management in SAP assuring the segregation of duties at Finance level.
• Create the functional design and support the ERP developer at functional level to develop/modify the ABAP code to be adjusted to the new requirements.
