Office Angels is seeking an experienced Buyer/Planner for a manufacturing environment in Margate. You will manage supplier relationships, purchase orders in SAP, and coordinate UK and international shipments to ensure on-time production.

The role covers expediting, inventory control, lead-time monitoring and cost monitoring, with a 14-month FTC and a salary of 30,000–32,000. Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:30pm, with excellent benefits including pension, private medical cover, 25 days leave and more.

Qualificações

• Experience in manufacturing purchasing or planning.
• Experience purchasing mechanical components in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of planning, scheduling, inventory control and expediting.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and negotiating costs.

Responsabilidades

• Source goods and services from UK and international suppliers.
• Raise and manage MRP-driven purchase orders using SAP.
• Maintain SAP MM purchasing data (source lists, info records, material master).
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, delivery schedules and costs.
• Expedite orders and resolve shortages impacting production.
• Coordinate import shipments via sea, air and courier networks.
• Investigate and resolve supplier quality issues with internal teams.
• Monitor supplier lead times and drive improvements in on-time delivery.
